How do I change the sound for a specific beat?
Tap on the beat pattern editor below the tempo display. Each beat shows its current sound (e.g., "Kick", "Snare", "Click"). Tap on a beat to cycle through available sounds, or long-press to see all options and adjust volume.
Why does the metronome stop when I get a phone call?
The metronome is designed to automatically pause during phone calls and resume afterward (if the call app allows). Make sure you have the latest version of the app for the best interruption handling. If issues persist, try restarting the app after the call.
How do I sync my setlists across devices?
Sign in with your Apple ID or Google account on all devices. Your songs and setlists will automatically sync via the cloud. Note: Cloud sync is a Pro feature. Free users can save up to 3 songs locally.
Can I use the metronome with headphones/Bluetooth?
Yes! The app works with wired headphones, AirPods, and Bluetooth speakers. Note that Bluetooth audio may have slight latency (20-100ms) which some drummers notice. For the most accurate timing, wired headphones are recommended for critical practice sessions.
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the original purchase. If the restore doesn't work, contact us with your purchase receipt.
The app is draining my battery. What can I do?
The metronome uses audio processing which requires some battery. Tips to reduce battery usage: lower screen brightness, disable vibration feedback if not needed, and close the app when not practicing. Playing audio in the background uses less battery than having the screen on.
Can I import/export my setlists?
Currently, setlists sync via cloud when signed in. We're working on import/export functionality for a future update. If you need your data exported urgently, contact support and we can help.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data (songs, setlists, preferences) from our servers. This action cannot be undone. Local data on your device will also be cleared.
